Swearing-in ceremony of Tony Cillo to office of Lorain County Prosecutor

Tony Cillo plans to take the oath of office as the new Lorain County Prosecutor in the jury commissioners room which is located on the 1st floor of the Lorain County Justice Center. Plan adequate time for yourself to park and get through security at the entrance to the building. Plan to arrive at the room by 9:50 a.m.
This event is open to the public.

The North Ridgeville Republican Club will have their 1st Thursday monthly meeting on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the North Ridgeville Public Library. Activities and budget for this next year will be discussed. We would love to have your opinions.

2025 Club Dues
We are asking you to pay your club dues for the 2025 calendar year. They are $20 for a family membership and $15 for a single membership. Checks are preferable but cash is also accepted as well as Venmo or PayPal. Dues help to support Republican activities in North Ridgeville. Please invite your Republican friends to become members of our awesome club.

Timing and Ohio House Session / Swearing-in note:
For anyone who wants to stay after the luncheon, you can watch the first Ohio House Session. There will be an overflow area from which visitors will be able to watch from outside of the chamber.
Members will go on to the floor. The CURRENT House speaker will swear in all of the Ohio House members present. This will be the second swearing-in of the day, without member's guests.
The members return to their seats on the chamber floor and proceed to take their first vote, which will be for the NEW speaker of the Ohio House (2025-2026).

Take Your Candidacy & Campaign to the Next Level!
The Candidate Development Workshop is designed to help current and prospective candidates identify the steps to run a successful campaign.
The workshop focuses on personal and political preparation as an elected official and community leader for future service.
Two tracks will be offered in this workshop:
- General Candidacy
- School Board Candidacy
Ideal attendees for the General Candidacy track are individuals who are looking to become more politically active and are desiring to run for general office (not school board). Candidates, campaign staff, and volunteers involved at any level should attend.
General Candidacy Track Attendees will learn how to:
• Decide if they are ready to run
• Develop a campaign plan
• Raise funds
• Craft a compelling message
• Communicate with voters
Ideal attendees for the School Board Candidacy track are individuals who are interested running for school board, school board candidates, and those supporting candidates.
School Board Candidacy Track Attendees will learn how to:
• Run an effective School Board campaign
• Conduct themselves professionally on social media and in media
• Message and communicate effectively in education
• Build strategic coalition development for education impact
